manf0001 4 Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Hello, This might be similar to this post. (https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/72236-emby-stops-during-playback/?hl=%20playback%20%20stopping) but as what is happening is different then what everyone else is reporting, I figured I would start a new post. I'm running Emby server 4.2.1.0 on a Qnap NAS TS-431P. It was reported by some of my remote users, either using the web browser, or Casting. Last night someone who uses the xbox player had the same thing. In my own network where my server is, if I watch the same movie on my computer - With a wired gigabit ethernet connection - the movie will freeze up at the 1`hour 10 min mark.I've checked the file and it's fine in external players Here are the logs for this morning. Where I am watching Grease and at about 1hour 11 mins it freezes up. The video file is a 480 quality, and the quality it showed was Auto 480p-4Mbps I found that if I changed the quality from Auto to something under the 4Mbps it started playing fine again. This also happens if Throttling is enabled or not. I hope these logs will help find out why this happens. Luke 42080 Posted August 27, 2019 Posted August 27, 2019 Hi, it sounds like the bitrate might just be too high for the connection. Can you try 3 mbps?
