Emby is Ignoring Year and Applying Incorect Episode Descriptions

I'm having an issue where Emby is ignoring the year and applying the wrong descriptions/overview to episodes as well as posting the incorrect year for the series.  It appears to be just one series in particular, "Home Fires", I'm having an issue with.  There are two different series with same name.  The series I have stored on my server was produced in 2015 and "thetvdb.org" differentiates by applying the production year to the later one "Home Fires (2015)".  I've even added the year to the episodes, but it still pulls inof for the same titled series produced in 1992.  See the attached screen shot for the directory/file naming structure.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi, I just tested this and got the correct result? Have you checked that tvdb is your highest priority series metadata provider for that emby library? You could also try not using the MasterPeice Theater sub-folder, in case that has an impact. Or perhaps the data was already in your nfo files and Emby simply read from there?

Thank you for the prompt reply, Luke.  Do you ever sleep?

Yes, tvdb is ranked as the highest ranked series metadata provider for that emby library (TV shows).

I've utilized subfolders in other areas of the library without an issue, but I'll give it a try.

I've deleted the nfo files on several instances and it continues to retrieve metadata from the wrong series.

Well, go figure!  I moved "Home Fires 2015" from the "Masterpiece" to the "TV Shows" folder, deleted the nfo files, and as soon it re-scanned it was now displaying the correct series info.  Once again, I've learned the definition of "assume".

Emby is trying to honor this nested/complex folder structure but there are still situations that doesn't auto detect the series folder level correctly.
