Playback takes 15 seconds to start when using addon default

When I set playback to addon default it takes 10-20 seconds to start a movie in Kodi. When starting the same movie using direct paths the movie starts instantly.

 

Any reason for this, and any way to fix it?

It shouldn’t take that long, provide your Kodi log.
