Noticed this both in stable and beta testing.  Why is the "A" before "1!@#$%" folder? Same in Metadata Manager.

Not sure. I wouldn't have expected that. If you create those folders in a windows folder, how does windows sort them?

Windows sorted it properly.  So I did a quick look in the database and the A folder and a null entry in sortname and all the rest were auto populated so I manually fixed it.

But this has happened on two separate systems.  Movies on stable and testing TV on beta.  And both has null sortname on folder named A

So is this do to "SortRemoveWords"?

That would make since requiring a user to add a sortname manually in the ui to do it the correct way.

Oh yes that's true. I guess we shouldn't remove it if that ends up resulting in an empty value.

Hello,

I have a sorting issue, the content is not sorted by year or premiere date. When i select sort by year or premiere date it is just sorted by Title and the year under each movie or series is not visible.

i tried the sorting within KODI, Android TV app same thing. However on my android phone sorting by year or premiere date is working and year is also shown

Hi. If the year is not visible in Android TV then that means the "Production Year" field is not filled in for that media.  Can you edit metadata and see what is in that field?

I have checked again all there and after i renew my Premiere key for a strange reason the year is visible. The only thing remain now is the sorting, still not sorting it with Year or premiere date.

Can you please show us some screen shots?

Thanks.
