bozrdnag 75 Posted August 23, 2019 Posted August 23, 2019 I would like to create a library that contains all of my multi-channel music. The problem is that it is in many different formats: FLAC files, DSF files, DVD-A and Blu-Ray Audio. Obviously the first 2 are audio files and the last two are video formats. I would like to be able to browse and play all of them though one location. Is this possible? Ultimately I won't actually play any of these via Emby. I use Emby for Kodi and Kodi is my primary player/GUI around the house if that affects this.
Luke 42081 Posted August 24, 2019 Posted August 24, 2019 Hi, you could try using the mixed content type although it might not give you the presentation you're looking for.
bozrdnag 75 Posted August 24, 2019 Author Posted August 24, 2019 I hadn't considered that because I thought that was for a mix of series and movies. Turns out it works well enough in Emby as far as displaying the media together but there are issues with Emby for Kodi exporting that to Kodi. The audio files don't display (maybe becasue they are being associated with TV shows?) and many of the video files won't play or won't play right. Maybe I'm just trying to accomplish something that is just too esoteric.
