Cracking audio on Android app playback

Sounds like I'm listening to vinyl audio, doesn't matter what I do. Yes I have checked my headphones, and, emby is the only app I have this issue with.

It sounds like I'm playing retro vinyl soundtrack, and, this has happened since the last few updates.

I'm running Android 9.

I'm running Emby for Android 3.0.7.2

Hi, thanks for your reply.

Checked on my backup phone with an older version of Android, but no "usb-c", and, using a 3.5mm headphone jack, and, no issues occurred.

The problem is solved, it seems - at least for me - when using a phone with no headphone jack, via usb-c interface, crackling is occurring during playback of

any/all videoo files.

'Crackling' is probably clipping. Whatever you are trying to listen with, may not fully support what your listen to.
