medic149 0 Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 My Amazon Fire Stick Emby app no longer gives me an option to log-in with my user name and password. It wants me to sign-in with connect and enter the pin on the web site. Which I do, but then it wants server information and never allows me to log in on the app. Everything was working fine until recently. I used to load the app and it logged me in. HELP!!

ebr 16178 Posted August 21, 2019 Posted August 21, 2019 Hi. It sounds like your server is no longer reachable on your network. Make sure an update didn't update your firewall rules such that it is now being blocked.

Might not be your answer but I just was able to use the Pin code method once I renamed my fire stick to not have an apostrophe. I've seen this be an issue in the past and removing the ' just worked for me.

ebr 16178 Posted December 18, 2019 Posted December 18, 2019 An apostrophe should be fine and, on more up to date versions of Android, most other characters should too. Which model of Fire TV and did you change anything else about the name?
