Improve playback of photos and videos mixed together

I am using Emby mainly for my private photos and videos (not movies, TV).

 

When I am browsing to a photo, then swipe to the next item, and the next item is a video, I only see a picture from that video, but I am missing the "play" button in the middle of the screen.

 

What am I doing wrong?

Hi, this is essentially just a starting point to integrate video into the photo slideshow. In a future update we can look at being able to play from there. Thanks for the feedback.

I evaluated a lot of systems (OwnCloud, NextCloud, Kudo, Synology, QNAP), but Emby is the best one (for my needs), for several reasons (transcoding on the fly, file-system as a first-class citizen).

 

I hope this feature (video integration into slidesho) will be implemented soon :-) Do you suggest me to submit a feature request?
