Deleting TV Show removes Next Up from view... Why?

Hi again, another Next Up question... am coming from Plex where after viewing a TV Show whether via Samsung app, Firestick app or Plex for Kodi and you delete it, the next episode shows and displays under Next Up (called On Deck in Plex's case). Doesn't matter whether you delete it or not, Plex knows you just watched an ep so it's ready to show you the next one, hence On Deck.

But I noticed here in Emby, only if  an episode is NOT deleted after being played then the next episode shows in Next Up. If you delete it, then the next ep disappears from Next Up... Is this intentional behaviour?

For instance, just watched Flintstones E01, it was automatically marked as played, and didn't delete it. Went back to home screen and cool, E02 is sitting there in Next Up. All good. Now went back to the series folder and deleted E01, now E02 is gone from Next Up on the home screen? Why?

Hi, next up is based on the next episode following your previously played one. Once you delete the previously played one, there's no more next up. It's something we can look at improving though ,thanks.

Agree that this is a missed feature from Plex. It would be nice if this could be added to Emby so we could see the Next Up episode even if we delete an episode after watching.

It's a good idea for the future. Thanks for the feedback.

So this is interesting. Last night I finished watching episode 9 of Damages. After watching, I deleted it, went to the home page and Damages - episode 10 wasn't showing up in Next Up. This morning i wake up, and episode 10 is in Next Up! Maybe because of a trakt sync? Not sure why it's there now, but somehow it appears to be working.

I tested again tonight and Next Up does currently show next episodes even if the previous episode was deleted. But, it requires a library scan first. So, I think the feature request is to have it show up immediately. This does work pretty good as is though if the library scan runs every day.
