Server often unresponsive

Often times I will open emby, I will get to the main page (sometimes) but I can not click anything, nothing will happen. If I try to refresh it won't load. Sometimes when this happens

I have two emby icons in the system tray but not always.

 

It just happened right now so I grabbed the log. Only one emby in system tray. But I can't access it.

 

My hardware is not weak

AMD 1800x

16GB Ram 

Emby runs on an SSD. 

 

Can someone help me understand what is going on?

Hi there, I would suggest removing these plugins then restarting the server and then see if the issue persists:

	Auto Organize 1.5.1.0
	CoverArt 4.1.7.0
	Dlna 1.0.23.0
	Playback Reporting 1.6.3.0

Will their settings be lost? Auto organize I use quite a bit dealing with TV recordings

The problem is very sporadic so it isn't something I can just test and say yay or nay.

Just wanted to report since I did what you said and got rid of the plugins I don't believe the server has froze up on me once.

Okay, so now you may want to start adding them back in one by one and see if/when the problem returns.

 

I would start with CoverArt, then Playback Reporting then the others.

I haven't missed them, the main one that mattered was auto organize and I am just letting Emby handle that now. So I would rather

just let it be and keep it lean.
