sfatula 207 Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 So, possibly wanting to use Emby to display our photos. I don't see any doc in the user wiki at all. So, question.... Is there any doc? If not, if I add a photo location in a new emby photos library, does Emby mess, store files in, etc., the folder and subfolders? I want to make sure it doesn't mess up my photo app by storing stuff in those directories. It has some settings for, what seem like, movies or TV shows. i.e., save artwork into media folders!? Thumbnail images!? Ideally, I want all directories and sub-directories to remain as is, nothing at all modified or stored there.
Luke 42086 Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 No but pretty much any folder structure will work. No. Because the home video libraries also support videos. 1
sfatula 207 Posted August 16, 2019 Author Posted August 16, 2019 (edited) Final questions.... Do say 10,000 pictures load up emby database wise and slow things down significantly? I don't want the overhead of photos to slow down the currently good speed of my video library. I'm not really sure what sorts of stuff Emby may index in the database.
