Database/MetaData Manager - Can't See Collections?

For some reason, when I click the dropdown on Collections within the database/metadata manager, nothing happens. It used to work. Not sure what broke it. 

Should I provide a log? What kind of steps should I take when generating the log, to capture helpful data

If I click the triangle dropdown for Collections, there's nothing there. I have tons and tons of Collections...

So your Collection library will not expand in Metadata Manager.  What is in your "\Emby-Server\programdata\data\collections" folder?

This might have been user error. If I expand Movies, the Collections exist in there along with all my movies and I can edit them just fine.

That would mean you have legacy collection folder structure which are no longer honored/displayed as Collections.  The structure is treated as normal movies.  If your Collections library will not expand, that would mean your server does not see any Collections/Boxsets within your media library.

Yes. Many were also auto created with Auto Box Sets, historically... Is there a migration/solve?

 

(I still see TONS of box sets if I go into Collections via the traditionally media browsing)

Have you run a library scan? Have you checked user access to make sure it's not a simple thing such as user being restricted from the collections library?

I can still see Collections in Library...

Right but the Collections library is separate from your Movie library-Collections tab or even grouped into collections via library.  Have you verified User Access?

Try adding a new collection and then running a library scan.
