casminkey 19 Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 I'm in the process of moving houses and will be bouncing around for a bit. While moving my Emby server and file servers a thought occurred to me if it was possible to virtualize the servers in the Cloud. Is this possible? With 100Mbps Internet fairly common, I have very few problems accessing Emby remotely anyway. I'm somewhat familiar with AWS or Rackspace which do this on a large scale for large corporations. Is there anything out there for a home/office type of setting where I could virtualize 2 or 3 servers with like 15TB of disk space? Just curious.
Luke 42083 Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 Hi, we don't offer a service for this, but yes you can install a server onto an AWS instance. there are some here doing that. 1
casminkey 19 Posted August 12, 2019 Author Posted August 12, 2019 Oh, cool If anyone here is doing this, I'd be very curious to know what that costs. I'm going to see how far I can get on the free tier but I don't suspect i'll get very far.

Wow, what a random necro. Is this an ad for AWS? This thread was 3 years dead.
Guest Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Yeah I looked at the post history, seems pretty suspect.
C.S. 93 Posted July 6, 2023 Posted July 6, 2023 Omg it's so robotic. And here we are helping it "learn".
