xsxavier 0 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 I'm having an issue with Wake On Lan. I'm in the process of moving my Emby server to another device. However somehow, when logging in at the server selection screen, my new server does not show the option 'wake server'. Am I just missing some obvious option anywhere? The device itself is working fine and Wake on Lan works through my router for example.

xsxavier 0 Posted August 8, 2019 Author Posted August 8, 2019 Android Emby app, that is not the issue however, alas, since in that same app my current servers shows the 'wake server' option, the other one doesn't.

I have tried adding the server through emby connect and also adding it by local ip. Either way it doesn't show. Edited August 8, 2019 by xsxavier

Luke 42085 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 The only thing I can think of is that server is not able to determine it's mac address information and that's why this is happening. I would try signing out and back into the app one more time. if that doesn't do it then please attach the emby server log. thanks.
xsxavier 0 Posted August 8, 2019 Author Posted August 8, 2019 Somehow after 2-3 tries of logging in/out again, it just now appeared, I thought let's check one last time and voila there it was! So I guess it's resolved, thanks!
