It is indiscriminate. Any file older than the configured time is deleted. It is best not to mess with this as reducing this value or deleting yourself is just going to lead to people complaining that "loading is slow now".

I don't know what this is. In terms of "no longer needed", if I do a ton of artwork maintenance then at some point clearing out everything makes sense, because anything that is still needed will get re-cached at some point anyway. But I'm not sure what this code is or what I'm expected to do with it. Does Emby itself do any cleanup?

I believe anything over 30 days old but not sure. Edited February 20, 2020 by Happy2Play
crusher11 1101 Posted February 20, 2020 Author Posted February 20, 2020 Still looks the same on the TV.
crusher11 1101 Posted February 20, 2020 Author Posted February 20, 2020 The sides are cropped to the blue, not the white.
ebr 16169 Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 I believe anything over 30 days old but not sure. Actually looks like it is 100 days. Most of these things don't change very often and, whenever something significant does change, they are re-cached anyway so that number is reasonable.
crusher11 1101 Posted February 21, 2020 Author Posted February 21, 2020 After the LG TV update today, the AFL logo looks fine on the details pages but is still incorrectly cropped on the OSD during playback.
