annisman 13 Posted August 2, 2019 Author Posted August 2, 2019 That's super lame for me, but thank you for the straight forward answer. Now I gotta find an Nvidia driver that will actually pass HDR properly
softworkz 5066 Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 What I've seen in your log is that your onboard Intel GPU is detected for hw acceleration, so you should be able to use that at least in case you won't find another solution.
annisman 13 Posted August 2, 2019 Author Posted August 2, 2019 Gonna try my luck with 398.11 and report back

Thank you for taking the time to look at that, and for everyone else who has chimed in to help
Solution annisman 13 Posted August 3, 2019 Author Solution Posted August 3, 2019 I am very pleased to announce that 398.11 both passes through HDR properly AND has enabled the option in Emby to select the 1060 for encoding. I did a quick test and the CPU is around 30% usage and GPU 35%. So that is much better. Thanks boys! 1
