4.2.0.40 - Double Shows Folders

Since 4.2.0.40 i noticed that multiple shows being recorded (HDhomerun with Emby Guide Data) are no longer adding the year to the show name folder causing the separate folder creation it seems.

 

Example:

TV Recordings\The 100

and

TV Recordings\The 100 (2014)

 

 

Is the guide data missing it? or is emby not adding the year now?

 

 

Note: to clarify, no issue with the actual recorded episodes, just the self organization.

Yes this can happen if the year is not in the guide data. But still we have measures to try and determine it. Can you please attach the server log from the recording? Thanks.

Ok it's because of the tvdb outage that we could not get additional metadata to determine the series year.

Ill just move the new files over to the one with (year) to fix it.
