I just installed this and set it up but nothing looks any different. Is there anything else I have to do?

I don't have Premiere yet but it says I get a two week trial period.

Hi.  Is this the first time (ever) you have installed the plug-in?  The trial may have already expired due to a previous install.

When you go to the plug-in configuration, does it tell you your trial is expired?

First time I've ever installed it, no message saying trial has expired. I can go through all the setup steps but when I view my libraries the covers still look the same.

Okay.  We're going to have to look into this.  I think some of the recent improvements to performance (reductions of interactions with our external server) may have impacted the trial ability here.

Thanks.

I bought Premiere and Cover Art still isn't doing anything.

@@crusher11 we're sorry to hear about this. Why exactly do you feel it's not doing anything?

Because the covers still look literally exactly the same as they did before I installed it and set it up.

How did you configure the cover art plugin?

How did you configure the cover art plugin?

I just threw a few things into the default movie profile - metrocase design, overlays for video and audio codecs. I think that was it.

Can you please go over a specific example? thanks.

How much more specific can I be? In the default profile, for Movies, I've turned on the MetroCase treatment and the Media Info overlays. Neither of them is displaying.

Did you ensure that your Premiere key was properly validated?

Can we please see a server log from after you configured CoverArt?

I have the little gold logo thing on my Dashboard, so I'm assuming the key worked.

There's lots of successful cover art processing in this log. Can you show a screenshot of something that isn't appearing the way you're expecting? Thanks.

Turns out it was a browser issue. They work in Chrome, but not in Waterfox.

Your version of Waterfox is based on Firefox 56 which is getting pretty old now.

Off topic: Just curious, what are the benefits of using a custom build browser, with a Firefox engine, that was designed in 2017  ?

Not having to deal with Web Extensions.

Not to mention, no pesky wasted bandwidth downloading updated thumbnails for your posters after coverart creates them ;)

You're also missing important security patches that have come since then.
