Can't Switch User

I am running Emby for Fire TV v1.7.23a, and connecting to Server with v4.2.0.40 via EmbyConnect

The server is a remote server, and I cannot change the user account.  When I go to the bottom and click Log Out, it takes me to the server selection screen, then logs in with the same user account.

 

When I go to App Settings, Startup Behavior is 'Show Login Screen', but nothing happens.

 

When I log into the local Emby server the 'Select a user' screen comes up, and it is not connected via EmbyConnect.

 

If I hit the 'Log out of Connect' button then it disconnects the user and kicks me out of Emby.

 

When I go back in I see the remote server on the sever list, but when I select it, there are no user options.  I can only Enter User Manually (which is a pain in the ass), or Login with Connect.

We are switching between 3 accounts several times a day (mine, kids, parents) so having to go through all of this is a SERIOUS PAIN IN THE ASS, particularly when we use the local server it is a very simple an intuitive process.  So is this process screwed up, or is it intentionally a PITA?

Hi.  You cannot switch users on the same server with Emby Connect because that is a direct link to a specific user.

 

If you want to be able to switch users, then you need to log in with the server address.
