Happy2Play 9780 Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 (edited) Now there's a thought. They're in a separate folder from the movies that actually have video files on my server, so I can prevent other users from seeing them. I keep my NFO and poster art files with my media, so just removing that folder and then re-adding it should work without me losing anything, right? Since you have metadata and images with media, no. But since they are all in there own folder you should be able to multi-select the folder and Refresh the entire folder. Edited August 1, 2019 by Happy2Play
crusher11 1101 Posted August 1, 2019 Author Posted August 1, 2019 Would that cause me to lose any custom sort titles, or even the very tags I'm trying to work with? I would imagine refreshing the metadata would go back to the internet and replace the film's title with its actual title, not its tagged title, and would blank out any sort titles I've added. Or do I have that wrong?

crusher11 1101 Posted August 1, 2019 Author Posted August 1, 2019 Well, it was only one item so it was simple enough to re-add the tag. Going through and locking 700 items is going to take forever...
crusher11 1101 Posted August 1, 2019 Author Posted August 1, 2019 Actually, I just noticed that now I've re-added the tag it's jumped back to the wrong spot. And yet, some of the pre-existing ones work just fine. So I have no idea what's going on.
crusher11 1101 Posted August 2, 2019 Author Posted August 2, 2019 It's also not just the symbols, because the BDs are listed first, followed by the DVDs, followed by the UHDs. If it were only the symbols that were being sorted, they'd be mixed together.
crusher11 1101 Posted August 3, 2019 Author Posted August 3, 2019 See screenshot. The "BD" and "DVD" text is clearly being used when sorting.
