Collections gone after upgrading to 4.2.0.40

I upgraded to 4.2.0.40 and found that the movie collections that I had setup manually in the web interface are gone.  I have Auto Box Sets installed also and the collections it created automatically are still there.

 

Can I have both the collections I created manually and the ones created with Auto Box Sets?  I have a full Ghost backup of the computer if I can find what to restore for the missing collections.  Thanks.

Hi, do you know what version you upgraded from? Have you tried running a library scan?

I was on version 4.1.1.0 running on Windows 7.  I had it rescan all the libraries and restarted Emby Server as well as rebooted the computer.

 

I found this folder which appears to have the missing collections files:

C:\Users\jeff\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata\data\collections

 

While typing this reply, I decided to go into the Movie Collections library and one-by-one ran 'Search for missing metadata', 'Replace all metadata', and then 'Scan for New and updated files.  All the collections are being shown again, but not sure which refresh fixed it.

How did you go through the collections library one by one if the collections were gone?

I had found the xml files in the folder I listed above, and in the server settings under Library there was still a Movie Collections listed, but in Emby I was not seeing any of the collections.  It was in the server settings I picked each of the three refresh options.
