I need to update manually because autoupdate and setup apps are having trouble downloading.

 

Where can I find instructions to manual update emby server?

Hi, simply shutdown Emby Server and use the install instructions from our website to install on top of your existing version:

The wizard on the download page goes out to the internet

I can download the file and put in on the computer needing updating, but I need an offline installer

For windows we don't currently have that, but we do have a portable download that you could use.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I'll pass.

 

The emby server works too good to mess with it.

 

I poked a hole in the firewall to let the installer get to wherever it goes for its files.

 

Its aws rules were recent updated,l so I guess amazon's cloud.

 

Maybe we can make offline installers a wishlist request
