asaren 0 Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Hello, I have installed Emby on my Sony SmartTV and try to remotely access my server through other network. After open it, it is instructing to enter the pin at emby.media/pin. At the page, I enter my username and password and pin correctly. The message keep showing "incorrect username/password". Then I skip the process and manually input the remote ip address of my server. Then it shows other two options: switch server and send log report. I click switch server and it shows the server with my local ip address. I click the server and it stated that the server cannot be reached. Wake up also not working. However I can remotely access the server with Android smartphone with same network as the TV's. Does anyone know how to solve this problem

You are positive you entered the right id and password? it would be 'asaren' and whatever the password is for this forum account.

That might help us determine if it's just a username/password error, or if there is something blocking your connection. Thanks !
