Mapped channels appearing out of order

I run my M3U through Xteve to filter out channels append proper channel numbers.  I checked the filtered M3U and the tvg-chno fields are in the proper ascending order.   However when I get into Emby and go to channel mapping they seem to be mapped randomly.   Everything works but it's a bit of a hassle finding the channels.   Any idea how I can get these in order by channel number?

i would hazard a guess that you are using 3 digit channel numbers. If you are matching up channels and epg in xteve you can use any channel numbers you want. If you are using emby epg 3 digit numbers are reserved for internal use but if you use 4 digit numbers it should be fine
