Wondering about how the server and clients interact.

One thing i am curious about with emby is how does the server and clients interact when it comes to guide data? Do the clients have to download the guide data on demand every time the tv guide is called up? Or is it cached on the client device?

It varies per app, but they get it from emby server. They don't have to go all the way to the guide source.
