Live TV on Android Home Screen

So in the Android emby app on my Nvidia shield I have thumbnails of the programs currently showing, but I can't get these thumbnails on the Android home screen. Can you guys implement that? Also preview of love channels from home screen would be awesome. Let me know if we can get any of that. Keep up the good work.

Hi.  This has come up before.  It is possible for the future but doing this will require some part of the app to always be running and always connecting to your server.  In the past, we've had a lot of people complain about processes that do that.

Not sure if on topic, but is there a way to change the Icons/Thumbnails for the 3 icons in the Live TV channel ( 2nd screenshot in initial post ) ?

Currently no. Do you not like them?

Not really, also they just don't match the style of ShieldTV/Android.

You looking for volunteers to work on better icons ?

Well we're aiming more for app consistency than platform consistency, but yes suggestions are always welcome.
