Best way to develop plugin config page

Hi I am currently working on a plugin but it is kind of a bother to make changes to the configuration page because there is no API for the CSS/JS I can use I am aware of and there is no way to view changes live. I have to compile the dll, copy it over, restart emby and look at what I messed up this time.

 

Is there an easier way to this I am not aware of?

That is currently the way because the html is an embedded resource. i would like to add an alternative developer mode where you can supply a folder path to the files for live reloading, i just haven't been able to get to that yet.
