My Emby Server keeps Crashing

Using V4.1.1.0 on Windows 7 almost 900 movies.

Any time a remote or local device browses movies or trailers the first time, while graphics are loading to device that is browsing, the Emby server crashes. It happens so often I have put Teamviewer on my server so I can go in and exit or shut down the server then restart it remotely. I have tried adjusting multiple settings as well as completely deleting and reinstalling server. Nothing corrects the problem. It seemed to start doing this beginning with version 4. Been on going for a few months with hope it would clear up with updates. Anyone have suggestions. HELP!

If I had to guess it would be CoverArt, as log3 ends with image enhancement.

 

Does this issue happen if you remove the CoverArt plugin?

Removed plugin....That seems to have fixed it! Cool, is the Cover Art Plugin not needed?

It has been a problem on some setups and the plugin configuration.  Is it needed, no but it does enhance the images so it is a personal choice.

I reinstalled it, it is continuing to function correctly, no crashes of the server?

No one has figure out why as it is random or you have to have a specific configuration to make it happen.  I have never crashed my stable or primary beta machine.  I have randomly crashed my test machines but re-starting the server did not crash again.

 

 

I reinstalled it. Not as many options available, no tabs with settings now and it is continuing to function correctly, no crashes of the server?

 

What is this suppose to mean?  Might need screenshots if something is not working.

We are looking into the cover art related crashes. If it continues to happen then you might want to leave it uninstalled for a little while longer, at least until after the upcoming 4.2 release. thanks.
