michael72 0 Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Hi I want to sort some videos via different metadata tags, I want to use Kodi for this task and the Kodi Emby video addon. Is there a possibility to add/edit the emby metadata tag from the emby server while browsing the Kodi library? Or will there be one in the future? Primarily I want to watch the film clip in Kodi, go back in the video clip menu and sort this film via metadata tagging within the Kodi surface. Or is there another way to perform this task of tagging? I´m using Emby Theater (Win10), Emby Android TV (Nvidia Shield) and Kodi (Win10, soon Kodi OSMC). I haven´t also seen this option in the above mentioned programs / video players.

You say the next release of server, do you mean it's already available with beta or the next beta version will have it? It is something I will implement for Emby for Kodi once available. I don't see how you can sort by tags, but you can definitely separate your library by tags. 1
