mestresende 0 Posted July 11, 2019 Posted July 11, 2019 (edited) Hi! When I try to play an episode through Emby, on my computer, an error appears saying that "No compatible streams are currently available", and if I try to send the episode through the Chromecast, the screen remains black. Tried to play the episode normally through Media Player Classic and it does normally, as well as using the Emby app on an Android phone. Attached you can find the log for emby server, and I will send in more files if needed. Thanks for the help! embyserver.txt Edited July 11, 2019 by mestresende
Luke 42092 Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 Hi there, the server is unable to launch it's embedded ffmpeg build. Can you please check and see that this file exists: C:\Users\Sancho\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\ffmpeg.exe From past experience, you most likely have security software or anti-virus software that has flagged it as a false positive and is preventing it from running. If that file does not exist, then I would suggest shutting down Emby Server, and installing the server again from our website on top of your existing version. No need to uninstall. Just install over the top. Thanks.

mestresende 0 Posted July 13, 2019 Author Posted July 13, 2019 It's weird, tried again today and some episodes work, others don't. But on my mobile phone, they all work perfectly, I just can't see it using Emby on my computer or by casting it.
