I leave my server running 24/7 and it was fine yesterday evening. Tonight, I could not connect via Roku and then when I went to the server itself, I find that the home page has lost the Collections group, as well as the Television group I had created. Further, the Movies group had changed paths, looking at a place that no longer exists. The version is 4.1.1.0. I rebooted the system but no change. I spent HOURS creating these groups - what happened? How do I fix this?

Hi there, what exactly do you mean by this?

Further, the Movies group had changed paths, looking at a place that no longer exists.

The path Movies is looking at is on the C: drive, where they were months ago. I moved them some time ago to a different drive altogether.

Did you possibly run some kind of windows restore that might have rolled back your windows user appdata directory?

No but I think I found out what has happened. There are two accounts on this computer. My wife logged in and Emby ran under her account. It was looking in the wrong area for the settings and configuration. Is there a way to have the program always look in the same place for configuration settings? I shut everything down and logged into the computer under my account and the configuration is correct.

Hi.  By default, the server is installed in the user area so we can be sure automatic updates will work.

You could install the portable version where ever you wish, however.
