Emby 4.1.1.0 and WDMyCloudEX4100

Hello All!

 

I'm looking for some assistance - I'm unable to run Emby as a service because when I do it's not recognizing one of my libraries that I have installed on WDMyCloudEX4100 - I get the following message

"The path could not be found.  Please ensure the path is valid and try again" with a Got it click button.

 

Well I know this works as when it wasn't running as a service it I could access the library - and when I removed the service and just ran Emby . . . I could access the library.  

 

This is critical for me to run it as a service in case the service crashes I want it to restart - that's why I also think is an issue within your NSSM setup instructions - you should be leaving it as it is - to restart the service.  If the service crashes while away from home you would want the service to automatically restart.  As for gracefully stopping it so that it won't restart - stop it from services.

If I should update to the latest beta and test - let me know!  I have no issues running on beta software for this.

Ok! Solved the issue - I remembered this morning that I had security enabled on my WDMyCloudEX4100 and that it needed a login. 

 

So . . . once I redid the service I had it login with the local account and not the system user . . .all worked!
