Has something changed?

Until recently, Emby has worked on all my downloaded shows. But I notice that all my .avi files are coming in very distorted and are not abled to be viewed. I pull up the file on the computer and it plays wonderfully so I am wondering if there is something wrong with the file that is playing them.
