Export a Music playlist as a Synced Folder

When i create a playlist i would like to be able download the content of the playlist into a folder (content transcoded to mp3).

Its for putting on a usb stick and importing into my cars infotainment system.

Not massively far away from whats already possible.

 

Thinking is i can maintain the playist in Emby, and keep the external system up to date periodically.

You can already do this, it's just that it will create folders based on the media and not just one for the playlist.

I had missed the folder sync plugin and sync function on the playlist..doh!

yes option to sync as a flat(er) file structure would be helpful.  emby is putting all tracks in a subfolder of the same name in the destination.

Just found a great use for emby with my ipod classic.

 

By using the folder sync plugin and sync my flac content to a folder with a mobile profile...all the non mp3 content (eg flac)  gets converted to mp3 so i can import directly into itunes
