From Official to beta!

Anyone know how I can update from Official version to beta without creating a new database and use the existing one??

Simply install the beta, all your settings should be as they were on the stable version.

btw I think I've seen its best to avoid going from beta back to a previous stable if you happen to feel the urge in future. Might possibly not work so well going in that direction.

this has to be the longest I have waited for a Emby update! is been already 2 months for a stable version and it seems like they fix the issues that I have in the beta version. Hopefully they release it soon!!

That is true. You should wait until the beta and release are at the same version. At that time and only at that time you can safely install the release on top of the beta.
