Hi,

Is there an Emby Connect issue today?  I noticed today when sending invites via emby connect, it tells me the user has been added instead of the usual "the user has been notified".  The user reports not receiving the invites.

Everything should be normal.

Does the user work properly?

I followed up with the user and although he reported he never received an invite, I asked him to see if he sees the server when logged into http://emby.media/connect.html and he confirmed he could and he could access it.  It wasn't just this one user where there was no invite sent, but I noticed a few other users I sent invites to, it would directly add their emby connect ID rather then send an invite (return " The Emby account has been added to this user.")

Are you sure the invites weren't stopped by a spam trap?

I am to the belief the invites are not sent.  If I normally invite a user to an emby server, for the first time, I expect to see the message that the invite has been sent to the user.  Instead I get the message that the user is added.  I only ever used to see that message if I remove an existing user and readd them.  Since they accepted the original invite, it directly adds them if I re-add them.  In this case, these are new users, and the emby server indicates they are directly being added without an invite being sent.  Nothing has changed on the server or in emby.  Just the past few days I have been noticing this behaviour.  I'm not complaining since now the user doesn't have to accept an invite, I'm just advising you that something has changed that makes adding new users bypass the invites.

They are sent. I just tested and received it, no problem found here.
