Playback Correction Mode? (Force Transcode)

Are there plans to introduce a playback correction toggle in the ios version of emby (similar to that found on roku / android tv os / embycon for kodi)

 

I also noticed this feature is missing from mobile android emby.

 

Any information on the matter would be appreciated

We don't have this but we do have pretty reliable automatic switching if direct playback reports an error. Is that not sufficient?

If something is direct playing even with a lower bitrate setting for any reason, I always found using playback correction to force transcode always fixes the issue.

Would be awesome to have across all platforms on the emby ecosystem!

 

An easy one-click during playback to just be able to watch smoothly without potential buffer issues is a great feature.
