How to modify or edit skins on OS X

As a front end designer and developer I'd like to try my hand at editing/making skins for Emby. I see it has been a while since there were discussions about this. I found info on doing this for Emby Theatre but only on windows.

 

Where can I find the theme plugin files for Emby on OS X and is there a way to edit and install them?

 

I am familiar with all the technology to do this. i.e HTML, CSS, JS, NodeJS etc.

Hi Luke,

 

Yes a designer and developer but predominantly front end technologies. Angular, Vue & React I have worked with a lot the last few years. I looked over the skins repo and its pretty standard stuff to get stuck into. I just could not find where the skins are installed and the skins tutorials all refer to Emby Theatre which does not run on Mac as far as I can tell.
