Sub-Zero (Subtitles) Alternative?

Hi Guys, 

 

I'm a new user with Emby and it looks great so far. I'm coming from the Plex camp...

 

 

I've tried a couple of days to make it download English and/or Swedish subtitles, but it's not working (for me). I'm an old user of Sub-Zero which has always worked flawless for me. 

 

Is there any alternative to the Sub-Zero plugin for the Emby ecosystem that I can download?

Hi, the server ships with Open Subtitles included, and our plugin catalog has 3-4 additional providers that you can install. This includes most of the popular providers that SubZero uses.

If you use Sonarr/Radarr, I'd recommend using Bazarr.

Otherwise Emby plugins will do.

I really appreciate the feedback. 

 

I've enabled all the relevant boxes in the subtitle department and I've entered my Opensubtitle pass/username. 

 

I tried to refresh all my libraries a couple of times and I exited/opened Emby again but it didn't download any subtitles for a couple of days. 

I opened Plex on day 4, clicked on "update library" and had 20 movies / 15 tv-shows of subs downloaded in 3 minutes. 

 

What am I doing wrong?

There is a scheduled task for downloading subtitles, that's when they get downloaded, and also when new media is scanned into the library.

Is that task started when if I refresh my library? 

 

Is there any setting that makes it show subtitles as a default, when playing a movie? (this Q is not related to downloading of subtitles)

Yes in Argentina Uruguay Mexico latin live in usa same problem  etc in all shout america is the best solution can you check version ntb fleet web dl the streaming whit best quality are all in subdvix now not work in bazarr subdivx is a problem for me for download a lot of subtitle i have the job manualy i have premium on emby but this is a problem thank dear
