djhifi 56 Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 (edited) I've recently added a new TV Show ("NOS4A2" from AMC) and I noticed that the server picked a backdrop with 1280 from thetvdb when there's 1920 available from the same source or even from themoviedb. The minimum backdrop i've defined is, indeed, 1280. But wasn't the server overriding the minimum if it could find FullHD instead? Whats the actual criteria? votes over resolution? Now, the issue regarding the scrapper: With NOS4A2, even though I'm naming everything per-thetvdb, it makes a mess in the season numbers. With this show, the scrapper created a Season 4, and placed all the episodes there. I had to go manually edit the .nfos with the correct season number. I have already other exemples such as: The TV Show Deutschland 83. The scrapper also created a fictional season (Season 83) and placed both my Season 1 and Season 2 from that show that season 83, again I had to name the season number inside the .nfos and refresh metadata. Another exemple is 12 Monkeys. He creates one Season 21. When in reality there are four in my structure. Is this expected with TV Shows that have some numbers in their names? I dont recall previous iterations having this scrapper behavior. Edited June 19, 2019 by djhifi

I believe resolution then votes, just like they appear when you manually search (backdrop issue listed below). That would be why you set the providers in the order of precedence. Since the minimum resolution was meet the first image provider image is gotten. There is no way for each provider to know that those are the same backdrops either, at least that I know of. @@Luke TV Backdrops are not honoring Image fetcher order from a edit image perspective, don't know if automatic download is using the correct order. Only type that I have noticed. . Edited June 19, 2019 by Happy2Play
Luke 42077 Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 They are sorted by preferred language first, then order or provider priority.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 (edited) They are sorted by preferred language first, then order or provider priority. Okay, my priority is FanArt, TMDB, TVDB. Primary images are displayed FanArt, TMBD, TVDB, but backdrops are TVDB, FanArt, TMDB. The issue I see here is Backdrops are technically language neutral as they should contain no writing. TVDB list them by language, FanArt and TMDB are neutral. I would prefer my provider order, but that is me. Edited June 19, 2019 by Happy2Play
Luke 42077 Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 I guess for backdrops we could just have those sort the way they used to, since we expect those will always be language neutral. Any primary images of people. Any others you can think of?
