roberto188 33 Posted June 18, 2019 Posted June 18, 2019 The quality settings of 720p 6, 8 & 10mbps do not contrain the resolution to 720, they just adjust the bitrate to 6, 8, 10mbps, but still transcode to 1080p.The only way to get 720p is to set it at 4mbps. Please fix this. Thanks!
ebr 16169 Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Hi. We actually should remove the resolution display there because it isn't always going to be exactly correct. Why do you need a 720p resolution specifically?
roberto188 33 Posted June 19, 2019 Author Posted June 19, 2019 It significantly lessens the load on the CPU/GPU for encoding so that 3-5 multiple transcodes can happen without overloading the cpu/gpu and most people don't really see much a difference in resolution for TV quality between 720p and 1080p unless they have big screens.
