Issue when converting recorded show

I been recording shows from live TV, those shows get save as .ts files, and I thought on saving some space by using the convert feature of emby.

 

Issue/Cause:

 

The issue is  when I select the "automatically convert new content"  in the convert feature options, then Emby detects the show that it is still recording on "live TV" and starts to convert the .ts video right away when the show hasn't even finish recording, the result is a corrupted file.

 

Solution:

 

Emby has to wait for the "Live TV" recording to finish before it starts convert.

 

 

Important:

 

Emby did successfully convert videos that were already recorded.

Will the log show the problem, because emby doesn't have a convert issue, the problem is a combination of this two options:

 

1) In the library settings I have selected the option "enable real time monitoring" .

 

2) in the Convert options I have enable "automatically convert new content".

 

 

By enabling the two options above Emby detects the episode when it starts to record and it also starts to convert.

 

 

I won't provide a log for this, I only wanted to let you know, I'm just not using the converting feature anymore, as is not something I really need.
