Display Collection "Overview"

Do any of the apps/platforms have a way to view the "Overview" for a collection (Besides Emby WMC)?

Below is a screen shot from Emby WMC, showing a collections "overview" entered through Metadata Manager.

This is theme-driven in Emby WMC (thanks @throgmorton), so I'm wondering if there are any other platforms that can show this info.  For example, Roku shows nothing when you hover over the collection, and selecting it just shows the movies in the collection.

Hi.  Yes, the Android TV and Fire TV apps do now and the Roku app will be getting this same display eventually.

Thanks.

That's great, is there any chance the Fire TV app has other viewing options besides poster like Emby WMC (list, detail....)?

Not specifically that you can customize at this point, but it does present the items differently than just straight poster views.

Ok, thanks for that.  Obviously I'm looking for the closest option to Emby WMC, or at least the one that has the most potential for the future.  It seems Emby Theater is not progressing on the visual side, while these apps are evolving.

Are there any inherent limitations to Fire TV or Roku that would prevent future customization? Or is it just low on the priority?

The awesome functionality combined with the visual appeal of Emby WMC would be a home run, something I'd pay an annual subscription for.

More customization/view options are always possible in the future but at the moment we're concentrating on trying to create an intuitive and visually appealing design that works well for the vast majority of folks - and to get this fairly consistent across the apps.

As you can see above, we are basically following the Netflix lead which pretty much everyone else in the industry has at this point as well - so it should be a pretty familiar interface.

Understood, and I believe you are succeeding with the consistency and intuitive design.  My 4 year old can even get where she needs to go using the Roku app.

Thanks for your feedback, I'll probably grab a fire stick and check it out.
