Thumbnail Images - Storage location

Hello..

I was curious where exactly the thumbnails are stored as they're created.

 

Could it be possible to have them stored with the media so that if the system was ever rebuilt, the existing thumbnails could be used again and not have the rebuilding process go through again.

You can choose the location in the individual library settings

Thank you, I saw that and started the process; which is actually going somewhat quickly using 10 second thumbnail creation.

 

For those interested, using 10 second jumps, thus far in my movies I'm averaging about 6.5 MB per movie and taking anywhere from 2-4 minutes per movie to create.

 

For TV shows (607 episodes), I averaged 2.2 MB per episode.

 

For 1.91 GB in space used thus far.
