Replace Metadata doesn't replace/delete Collection ID

Emby 4.0.3.0

I can kinda understand why, since collection id, but I noticed some issues in the log.

2019-06-05 18:03:57.781 Info Auto Box Sets: Unable to verify collection ID of 339577 which is referenced in Death Proof - not creating set.

When you hit themoviedb.org api, those collection ids do not exist. If you hit the api for the movie itself, you can see that it no longer has a collection id specified. I would expect it should have them, at least for some and I might post over there about that, however, in order to have a nice clean log I went into each of those 4 movies and refreshed the metadata and chose to replace everything.

The collection id remained. So I removed it, then refreshed (just to make sure it didn't pop back up) and it was gone.

My expectations were that, if I chose to replace the metadata, it would have replaced (deleted) the collection id.

We don't typically replace provider ids on refreshes although this one we might want to make a special exception for.

I know you're on an older version of the server. @@Happy2Play can you still reproduce?

I am indeed. I updated my original post with my version number, just for archival sake.

Same behaviour on 4.1.1.0.

It is annoying, I found the same thing. I think something labelled replace ALL metadata should do exactly that, not just some.

I had to manually go through and edit mine out. I think from memory doing an identify on a item refreshed everything.

I think documentation of what they actually do should resolve any issue.  As Identify is the only method of replacing all as it is a new identification search.  Where a "Refresh-Replace all" still uses existing ids for "identified" media to refresh specific fields.

You don't think this one should be a special exception? Because the collection id of a movie is not actually used to identify the movie. It's really just any other data field of that movie. This is what i would lead towards right now.

Yes that would help.

Ok, that's what I'll do. Thanks.
