Password problems

I can log into Emby.media with pin # and it says pin confirmed but then I go to emby app to log in with same password and username and it says login failure. What am I doing wrong? Even when I reset password and get that long password with letters and #s (cb8865bda6addtv) I follow link change it, can log into Emby connect but not app. Frustrating

Hi.  If you are using the PIN process with Connect, then you would not enter a user or password in an Emby app.

 

Can you tell us which app you are using and exactly the process you are going through?

I'm using the Google play Emby app. When I open the app it ask for username and password.

My username and password wouldn't take on the app so I did the Emby Connect with the pin. I use my name and password plus pin. Still can't access my emby media, movies, etc.

On what kind of device?  On your local LAN or remote?

 

Where is your server installed?  Are you sure you entered the proper user and password for the local user you setup?
