lightsout 156 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Is this standard behavior. On my Roku TV when watching a show when it goes to auto play the next show it keeps playing things that are checked as watched. I always thought emby plays the next unwatched show.
ebr 16169 Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 The auto queue functionality queues the episodes in order. It does not exclude watched ones.

Luke 42077 Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 If you start playing episode 1 again it would not make sense to jump to episode 10 just because the others are watched.

Hmm, I guess it depends on the show. I am mainly watching a show that looks at real criminal cases, so the order doesn't matter. I would rather it not put on a repeat. Maybe an option for the user to choose in the future would be helpful.

The auto queue next doesn't really make as much sense for non-serial series (but these are the minority). In that case, what you probably really want is a view that shows unwatched episodes and then the ability to play all items in that view.

Hadn't thought about that.
