How to activate Premiere without Emby Server?

I bought Emby Premiere in order to watch content on my Xbox, but apparently I can't activate the key without an Emby server. I have tried to install Emby Server for almost 2 hours now, but it's stuck on "downloading Emby Server version 4.1.1.0" . I tried several reboots, and also tried downloading new setup files from your site.  So how do I activate the key?

 

By the way, why on earth is it not possible to watch content on Xbox One without premiere?

So I finally managed to install Emby Server, and I registered my premiere key, but I can't watch content on my xbox one. I am using external servers that I was invited to. How do I watch the content from other servers on my xbox one?

to use xbox app the server that serves the content must have a premiere subscription, if the "external servers that you were invited" don't have it, you can only use the webclient via your browser to watch any content

So the server you are connecting to is not yours and does not have a premiere subscription, correct? 

 

Not all client/apps have there own unlock feature.

It is true that the server file is not easy to download, especially in China, I downloaded and installed the server for 5 hours.

Hi.  We're sorry you were confused by this.  On the page where you purchased the subscription it does state that you must have your own content and server.

 

I have refunded and canceled your subscription.

Second, I feel bad for the way I expressed myself, I was very frustrated. I got the problem solved. It had something to do with the amount of users on the server or something like that. I thought I had read what I needed to know, but I was wrong.

 

Last but not least, thanks a lot for the refund ebr and for cancelling the subscription for me. Top class support, and I am happy to say that I am enjoying Emby.

 

I wish I could add subtitles on the external servers though. The admin of the server I am on, told me that he has to choose languages for the subtitles on the server, is there any way to let the user choose language?

There is a per item subtitle download option that can be granted to Users if the admin chooses to.

Allow deletion of existing subtitle files
