lpgOFc4.pngAll the big avatars can't set passwords (neither can i set it) but the small avatars are fine

I would assume they are Connect user account and you can not set a Connect password via a Local user.  I believe they have to be recreated on the new system as my existing guests do the same thing.

 

@@Luke I only have one guest account and get that error also if I attempt to set a password on this previous Guest.

You are probably right, that was my conclusion also, however surely this should be fixed? or a more informative error given.

Thanks, when you said "resolve this in 4.2" do you mean existing users will be able to change their password or would it just be a more informative error? just need to know if its worth going through the hassle of getting people to rejoin the server or not.

Their isn't really a distinction anymore of the type of user, therefore they will be able to change the password.

But these are two different passwords, correct?   when you are referring to Local user (password via your Dashboard) and Connect User (password can not be changed via dashboard).

This is resolved in 4.2.0.11.

 

Initially was getting the same issue, but I had the user disabled. After enabling the user, i was able to set a password.  @@Luke Is this by design?  If things can't be changed while the user is disabled should they even be available?
