TazVue 0 Posted May 27, 2019 Posted May 27, 2019 I am running Emby server 4.1.1.0 and was working on my system when i noticed all of my movies and catchup (TV shows) were missing most of the poster boards. I attempted to scan the two libraries and now all of my titles have disappeared. I can go into Catchup TV and then folders, and then see the shows. They do play however, no artwork. When I go into my movies library which consists of three directories, on directory says there are no compatible streams, and the other two display one or two titles. I have tried removing the libraries and rebuilding with no luck. I've tried re-scanning and replacing all meta data which also did nothing. Anyone have any ideas or run across this? As a note, my system has been up and running fine for a year plus. this just happened and i am not sure if its due to the update or not. I've attached my latest log thanks KS
TazVue 0 Posted May 28, 2019 Author Posted May 28, 2019 I was able to restore my titles by undoing my last change which was- I changed all of the default recording paths, to g:/recordings, which is a NAS. This appears to have been the cause of my titles disappearing and I also could not scan new movies at that point as well. I changed the recording paths back the default, and all of my titles were back. I then re-scanned the libraries to restore all of the metadata. I am also able to add movies again as well. I hope this information is helpful for you to replicate the issue. I would like to change the recordings path back to the NAS at some point but I will wait to for feedback first. KS
Luke 42097 Posted May 30, 2019 Posted May 30, 2019 Ok, thanks for the info. When you changed the recording path, that also removed the old path from your library. We need to revamp those path settings and make them easier. Thanks.
